The Cleethorpes International Festival of the Air this year has attracted some of the world's leading kite flyers to provide a two day aerial extravaganza on Cleethorpes Beach.

International flyers already confirmed for the event include ) top mini kite flyers Ton & Maria Vinkin, Bas Vreeswik, Henk Boelens, Sjef v Zeeland all with prize winning kites, Dutch Cody Manlifting Team, Robert & Heleen Valkenburg (Holland), Guido v Hove kites, digeridoo and jembee percussion, and Derk Berkveans beautiful kites (Belgium), Rolf Sturm, Jurgan Ebbinghaus, Rolf Zimmermann & No Limits Team with the latest soft kites (Germany), Marla and Ron Miller (USA), Mr & Mrs Ohashi (Japan), Mr & Mrs Kuralash (Japan/Canada), Pan Gang (China) adding the Oriental touch and others who have yet to confirm - plus the best of the British kite flyers who have made this festival the success it is.

The International element of the festival has been programmed by 'The Kiteman' Malcolm Goodman the official kite consultant to the Sunderland International Kite Festival. See the latest kite designs, Giant kites, Sport kite displays, kite fighting, Japanese and Chineses etc. The White horse Kite flyers and groups from all over the British Isles will be converging on over 5,000 square feet of beach flying and creating an explosion of colour and movement. Kite stalls, craft stalls, kite workshops, street theatre and musical displays will be some of the added attractions.
